With the 2015-2016 school year upon us I wanted to show everyone my new classroom. As soon as you get something just the way you want it and have the "flow" correct, things change. I was moved from the 2nd floor to the 1st floor. Bye bye nice windows to the trees outside and hello windows I can't reach!
The good thing about this classroom is I have A LOT of space to do things. As a 6th grade teacher I still decorate my classroom -- many middle school teachers do not because it is "distracting." but bah-humbug to them! Have a look and if you see anything that looks interesting ask and I'll post a close-up! I still have some minor things to do before the year starts, but it is summer time and a girl has to have fun while it lasts!
I am one of those mother's that has their child's name on everything. We picked this super cute pair of sandals to review. They are called the Mini Turquoise Hawaiian Sandal and were a hit. For those of you who have been following the blog my wedding colors have changed just like the weather in this town - from one extreme to another. Finally it has been decided that it is going to be navy, shades of pinks and gold/silver- sometimes you have to Pinterest hours to figure it out. Anyway, the blues fit perfectly with what I wanted. To begin with they were delivered fast! I loved the little paper they were wrapped in when delivered - kind of like a surprise present inside that little box! Another thing I loved is there are matching adult/children shoes! I can just imagine the cute pictures that can be done with bridesmaids and flower girls during the reception. Everyone kicks their heels off for flips (besides me because I am short) during the reception, so they should look cute while dancing the night away! Plus, they are a steal - $12/$15. As we prepare to move, I have been looking for ways to help our daughter adapt with living far away from our family. Kids Email is an easy way to give your child the ability to have an email account that you can easily monitor and control. Your child has to option of picking their own email account name and can choose from many homepage designs.

There are two different logins, one for you and one for your kids. The kids login takes them to their email where they can read and send email. The parent's login has many options for monitoring and controlling your child's account. You can choose if your child can send or receive emails, photos, videos, links, or attachments. You can also filter bad words, receive copies of all incoming and outgoing emails and add a tag line stating it's a child's email account. The parent's section allows you to restrict the usage of the email account. You can impose a grounding or even certain times and dates.
Right now, my daughter is still a little young for this, but this is great for anyone with older kids. There is even an option to use an "older kid" version so your child doesn't think it's too childish. I think that using this and other safe internet strategies, you can really protect your child online! Overall, this is a great service for all parents! They are offering a free 30 day trial! See the full Inglesina Fast Table Chair Review on My Four Littles. I cannot tell you how many times I have went to a restaurant and their high chairs were not suitable. I spend five minutes cleaning them only to realize that the straps are either broken or not even there. This would be great for days like that!

This is my all-time favorite picture! It's from last year's Disney On Ice in Pittsburgh. My mom buys us all front row seats every year for my daughter's birthday. Last year, she was so into Minnie and Mickey that I felt like I was living Disney commercial. When Mickey came in for a hug at last year's show, she was so excited. She told anyone that would listen that she hugged Mickey for the next month.
