Imagination Station

Last September, we were living in a hotel for my husbands' job in Toledo, OH.  Having a one and a half year old stuck in a hotel room, a large one but still, will make anyone go crazy.  While researching things to do, I found the Imagination Station. The website had an amazing web tour so I knew Boo would love it. The weekend we went they also had the Bodies Exhibit which I had been dying to see.

When we arrived I was surprised how big it was.  There was something for everyone.  We headed straight to the Little Kidspace. It truly was awesome. First of all, they gated the whole thing in. That is always a huge plus because if your child is running wild you know that they are still contained.  There was a giant tree house to climb in, a hospital, grocery store and so much more!

She had so much fun! There were only around ten kids in there when we went. Nothing is worse than going to an overcrowded place with a toddler. Here are a few pictures of her playing. Note that she wouldn't even look at the camera she was having so much fun.

We tried to see some of the other exhibits but at that point it was nap time for Boo. They have a whole "wet zone", energy factory, and lots of exhibits dealing with engineering, weather, etc.  The Mindzone is really cool also.  It is filled with optical illusions.  In the center of the atrium, you can ride a high wire cycle or do the BOYO(human yo-yo).  They also have a news reporting station and an simulator theater!
Overall, one of the best places I have ever taken Boo. Check them out on Facebook or their website!
