I just discovered something life changing for a bride and groom! Ok, it may not be life changing but it is extremely amazing. I love Shutterfly, as you could tell in my post on their photobooks.
What did I almost spit my coffee out for? A personalized website that all your guests can upload their photos to, for free! Oh yes I said that correct! You can make your own web address up and the tab name. Mine is just up now so I can play around with it so I can help everyone else that asks me a million questions on how to do it properly.
You can even add Event Info to it! That means add a map of how to get to the wedding and/or reception sites, lodging information, and various things to do in the area for those traveling a distance to see the day. As a bonus you can link your gift registry to it so you won’t have to send so many pieces of paper out in the invites! I am so excited. The first person who is going to make her own website like this is definitely going to be my friend Jess. She is getting married in June so this would be great to gather all those pictures you wish you had (or could delete forever) from all the guests cameras. My friend Meg is getting married in May 2013 and I am going to make her do a website so we can include it at the reception. I was thinking about putting it on colored cardstock and having one at each place setting. That way you know they will look at it when they get home and hopefully upload their pictures in the process! For the organized person like myself, you have a calendar that allows you to assign tasks to yourself or others in the bridal party. How great is that? Remember, if you have questions just ask me because I am rooting my way around figuring it out now!
I used to be suggested this blog by way of my cousin.
ReplyDeleteI am no longer certain whether this publish is written via him as no one else realize
