Legion of Bats~Review & Giveaway~

Legion Of Bats

This book is appropriate for 17+
*I think it is fine for younger groups too.  It has a few feisty scenes in it but is tamer than the Twilight novels.

In a world governed by fear and corruption, a baby was born and immediately targeted for death. Hidden away in the rural West Virginia town of Tanner, Zoe Masterson grows up feeling like an outsider—just a little different from everyone around her. As bad becomes worse, she is arrested for arson and taken to a mental hospital, where she discovers nothing is as it seems.

One question - Why is this not a bestseller?  from the very moment you open the book you are drawn into the battles that Zoe faces, with people and within herself.  The author makes us root for Zoe and her forbidden love until we are blindsided by an event that can change her life.  How is she to survive finding love and possibly losing it?  I hate when books are great an I try to tell you about them because I usually want to tell you the entire story!  I am sorry if I just let "the cat out of the bag" up there, but it was just a little tid-bit of what you can expect while reading.   I was instantly drawn into the world of Zoe and her life at Weston.  I wanted to know why she was in a mental hospital until I realized she was extremely special.  This book should be on everyone's must read list !  Out of all the books I have read, I would align it with Vampire Academy books - the plot includes forbidden love and battles to prove it is worth it.  Would I buy this for a friend to read? Absolutely!   Although I want to keep pouring my heart out about the story, I cannot. I will spill the beans and what intrigue would that leave for you to read the book?
