One of my favorite things about teaching is seeing the student grow up, from the beginning of the year to the end.  As most of you know I am a blonde.  One of the funniest moments in my teaching career was when I had a student who thought that all blondes were really dumb - he must have believed the jokes!  I had to go to the length of bringing him my college transcript to show him I was actually really smart!  After that he had nothing but respect for me.  I still think it was hilarious!

I cannot tell you how many times I have went to a restaurant and their high chairs were not suitable.  I spend five minutes cleaning them only to realize that the straps are either broken or not even there.  This would be great for days like that!

Tropical Traditions Palm Shortening Giveaway

I love to try different oils and shortenings.  I never have less than 4 different ones in my kitchen.  I love the variety that different oils providess.  Recently I have found Palm Shortening from Tropical Traditions.  It is one of the best shortenings I have ever used.  It is even trans fat-free!  Check out my Full Review.
