Amelia Hoffman always knew she would be with Nathaniel Peplow forever,
but after they bonded everything started to go wrong. Nate treats her
like the enemy, her siblings are in danger, and an old threat grows
closer. As Nate pulls away and Amelia’s burgeoning friendship with a
handsome stranger blossoms, she worries she made the biggest mistake of
her life. If sorting out her love life wasn’t enough, a new drug emerges
that not only threatens the ones she loves, but seems to be part of
something larger than she could ever imagine. Amelia’s new and old
friends must work together to not only save themselves, but the whole
world.
The first book in this series is called Natural Selection. This is a Young Adult series and can be reminds me of James Patterson's novels about Angel and Maxx Ride. Amelia is wrote with such enthusiasm we can easily visualize her throughout the book. If you have not read the first book I will just let you know Amelia and are HS crush are mated (married in our world). How old is she again?! Yes they are both very young and have to learn to at least pretend and be cordial to one another to make it in the world. What is Nate's definition of pretending? Running away from their problems! Now Amelia is left to face off the world that we know, crazy Otherworlders, lost love & new found love, and the Otherworld itself. To me this is a YA version of Kim Harrison's series Rachel Morgan! I really enjoyed this series and hope their is another! Want a copy of your own? Visit Amazon!

Thank you so much for having me. Being compared to the Rachel Morgan books is high praise indeed. Thank you. :)
ReplyDeleteWell I speak the truth! I do love her books and the characters reminded me of one another in their own ways!
