I am a big fan of freeze dried stuff .. ever since I was younger and went on a field trip to the Carnegie Museum of Natural Science and the Carnegie Science Center and bought Space Food!  :) I actually visited not that long ago, check out my pic with the dinosaur!

Funky Monkey is amazing.  What caught my eye first was the packaging.  While I was in business school and had multiple marketing classes I learned that the product could ultimately be terrible, but people would want to try it because of the flashy packaging.  Funky Monkey met the marketing part of the plan by their package design, now was the true test - the product!

I loved them!  The first flavor I tried was JiveALime.  It tasted exactly like the little picture showed- Pineapple with a bit of lime.  Wonderful!

What interested me in this company to being with was that their snacks were Gluten Free!  Gluten is a trigger food and if I had it my way no one would eat it.  Have you ever heard of wheat belly?  Yes, that is from all that nasty stuff we eat with Gluten! Funky Monkey allows one to eat yummy snacks that are less than 200 calories for the entire bag, which is basically a meal to me because it fills me up! 

Funky Monkey offers a delicious and healthy way to enjoy fruit, it is perfect for on the go snacking or as an addition to hot or cold cereal!
